The Mill has expanded its 3D team with promotions and a new hire. It has promoted Jordi Bares, head of 3D, to the role of 3D creative director. He has been responsible for working on projects including Sony's Balls. Meanwhile Tom Bussell moves up to become head of 3D, and Robert Holmes takes the role of 3D gaming supervisor. It has also recruited Jorge Montiel Meurer as head of animation. He joins from MPC where worked for five years as animation supervisor. His credits include Cadbury's campaigns for 'Spots & Stripes' and 'Airport'. Pictured, left to right, are Holmes, Bares, Montiel Meurer and Bussell.

Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has made two senior appointments, recruiting Haydn Thomsen as digital executive producer and Ben Fielding as senior strategist. Thomsen (pictured, left) joins from Colenso BBDO where he was senior digital producer and worked on projects including Doggelganger for Pedigree New Zealand. He replaces Kevin Sherman, who is returning to the United States.

Fielding (left) joins Saatchi & Saatchi NZ from TBWA/London where he was digital strategist on British Airways and Adidas. He brings more than eight years experience in Asia and the UK, working in communications strategy roles across the automotive, banking, FMCG, sports and technology industries.

Santa Monica-based General Editorial has added Zen Rosenthal to its team of editors. Rosenthal previously worked at The Editors in Sydney, Australia, where he collaborated with agencies and production companies including Droga5, TBWA, M&C Saatchi, The Glue Society, Revolver Films and Radical Media. He has worked on a diverse range of projects including commercials, documentaries, music videos, and short films, and joins General Editorial's team, Noah Herzog, Matt Dunlap, and Addison James.
