Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has made a number of new additions to its creative team. Anne Boothroyd (pictured), formerly of Colenso BBDO and Clemenger BBDO, will join as creative group head on July 7. At her previous agencies, Boothroyd worked on clients like Yellow Pages, Vodafone, Air New Zealand and others. Former Saatchi L.A. team member Scott Huebscher will join as digital creative director on June 16 and Aim Proximity alums Steve Andersen and Dave Reid will join the agency on June 14. Huebscher worked on Toyota's interactive projects whil at Saatchi L.A. and had also served at agencies like jUXT Interactive and RPA. Anderson and Reid's past clients include Vodafone, The Warehouse, TVNZ, Air New Zealand and Yellow Pages. They had also served at Saatchi & Saatchi Johannesburg, on brands like Peugeot, Sony Ericsson, Pampers, Olay, Guinness and Diageo.
Jörg Herzog will bejoining TBWA Dusseldorf as executive creative director, to overseen clients including Henkel, Schwarzkopf, Chio and Teekanne. He moves from Ogilvy & Mather, Dusseldorf, where he served as ECD on Unilever's Dove campaign. Herzog began his creative career in 1988 at EMI Germany, where he designed record covers. He also previously worked at Kent Design in London, Intevi Advertising in Cologne and Lowe & Partners in Dusseldorf.
Andrew Christou has been named executive creative director of Publicis, Seattle, from Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles, where he was creative director. In the newly created position, Christou will oversee the creative department on all Publicis Seattle clients. While at Saatchi, Christou launched Toyota into NASCAR, worked on the Prius launch and worked on Toyota Sponsafier. His career also includes stops at Berlin Cameron United, Fallon McElligott, Wieden + Kennedy and BBDO. He also worked as a director out of Moxie Pictures from 2000 to 2006.
Rebecca Carrasco has been named creative director at Publicis Mojo, Auckland. Carrasco was a founding partner of Colman Rasic Carrasco and has received international accolades for work like the MTV Exit Foundation campaign featuring anti-trafficking music videos for bands like Radiohead and The Killers.
Paul Sutton and Anthony Nelson return to Crispin Porter + Bogusky as executive integrated producers. Sutton moves back from 180 L.A., where he was senior integrated producer and oversaw digital production for Sony, Boost Mobile and adidas. Prior to 180 he worked at Crispin for four years and helped to start the agency's interactive department. Nelson returns from Superfad, where he was executive director. Prior to that he had been a senior integrated producer at Crispin, on campaigns like BK's Whopper Virgins and the VW Gypsy Cab project.
A number of new hires have joined the Mill NY. Boo Wong joins as Senior Producer of Design & Content; Danielle Amaral comes on boards as Head of Design Production; and Jared Yeater has been named Senior Producer. Gong Myung Lee also joins as VFX Supervisor; Jeffrey Dates signs on as Senior CG Artists; Tom Bardwell has been named Senior Lighting TD; Jeff Lopez joins as Senior Animation TD; and Emmett Dzieza and Bowe King have come on board as Art Directors.
Digital Kitchen has signed Jeff Brecker for the newly created position of executive producer, general manager for the Chicago office. Brecker moves from Leo Burnett, where he was a CD/SVP. Prior tot hat he served as director of interactive production at Ogilvy.
