He also worked at BBDO Australia as ECD overseeing digital marketing for Air New Zealand, Pepsi, Mitsubishi, Smiths Chips and Visa. He also led digital at Tequila/ TBWA/Chiat/Day, Los Angeles and worked at JWT, DMB&B and Y&R in Detroit. Sapient also welcomes Alex Sion as VP/digital strategy and financial services in the company's N.Y. office. He previously served as senior VP at Citi.




Wieden + Kennedy has named Frank Hahn and Naoki Ito as ECDs of the Tokyo office. German-native Hahn is a vet from Wieden's Amsterdam and Shanghai offices, last serving as ECD of Shanghai since 2006. His client list includes Heineken, Coca-Cola, Nike and HypoVereinsbank. Naoki Ito moves over from award-winning agency GT Tokyo, where he worked on much decorated projects like Microsoft Xbox's "Big Shadow" interactive outdoor effort, Sony's "Rec You," and Sagami Condoms' "Love Distance."

Ashley Sferro has joined DDB Chicago as a senior producer on AT&T and Anheuser-Busch. Sferro comes on board from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, where she worked on HP's "Hands" campaign, Comcast's "Town" and Got Milk, including the recent Battle for Milkquarious rock opera.







Gary Wenzel (pictured), former COO of TBWA/Hakuhodo in Tokyo has been named to president TBWA/WorldHealth. The agency also named Steve Pashkoff as executive creative director. He previously served as CCO at Evologue, a CommonHealth company.










Melissa Blaser has joined Crispin Porter + Bogusky as ACD, from TBWA/Chiat/Day, where she was a senior copywriter. Her past clients include Pepsi, WaMu, Visa,Hillshire Farm and Pur Water. She's also the founder of the health blog, Guru-girls.com. She also previously worked as a copywriter at David & Goliath, on clients like Universal Orlando Resort, Kia and Bacardi.



Phillip Detchmendy has joined Humble as West Coast executive producer. Detchmendy last served as executive producer at Paranoid U.S. and is a longtime production vet, with previous stints at Tool and Satellite.






Integrated directing team Honest, aka Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion, have signed to RSA for U.S. representation. Honest was behind digital/integrated efforts like Comcast's "The Slowskys," as well as campaigns for Nike, MSN, Pansonic, Diesel, Sprint and most recently, GE.
