Sid Lee New York has made a series of appointments, including Betsy Decker as Creative Director. Decker was previously assistant creative director at Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam on pan-European Nike business, and co-creative director on Adidas global performance at Sid Lee Amsterdam.







Other new hires at Sid Lee New York include Daria Erkina (pictured) as art director, previously at Ogilvy New York, Ogilvy Paris, THEY Amsterdam, and Saatchi & Saatchi Moscow; Blaise Cepis as art director, previously at Mother New York and JWT; Laura Perlingo, copywriter, previously at Mother New York; Michael Grosso, copywriter, following internships at Draft FCB NY and Y&R NY; and Jose Hernandez, as copywriter, previously at Ogilvy (NY), Riney (SF), and Saatchi (NY). Derrick Lee joins as senior designer, from Mother New York, while Coral Garvey also joins senior art director, having previously worked at Apple, Anomaly, Nickelodeon and Silver and Partners.





Bicoastal/London-based Park Pictures has signed director/designer/photographer Vincent Haycock for U.S. commercial representation. Haycock has helmed spots for Absolut SF and others, and music videos for the likes of Florence and the Machine, Editors and Spiritualized. Recently, he took home an MTV VMA for Best Electronic Dance Video for Calvin Harris, "Feel So Close,", along with a VEVO People's Choice Video of the Year Award for his Calvin Harris "Sweet Nothing", featuring Florence Welch. As a title designer, Haycock contributed to Fight Club's title sequence, among others, and was nominated for a '04 Emmy for designing and directing the main title sequence for Nip/Tuck.





Quad has added director Johnny Hardstaff to its roster. His work includes commercials such as Dark Room for Philips, experimental films such as Like Spinning Plates for Radiohead and History of Gaming, which is included in the National Film Archive, and more recently promo shorts for Ridley Scott's Prometheus such as David, featuring Michael Fassbender.





Nice Shoes has promoted Flame artist Vin Roma (left) to lead the studio's visual effects department. As Head of VFX, Roma will continue in his role as a Flame artist, having worked with brands such as Google, Vicks, IBM, UPS, and Calvin Klein; as well as celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Kanye West. Nice Shoes has also hired Colleen Valentino (right) as a senior VFX producer.
