The Gatorade team reports to executive creative director Patrick O'Neill. John LaMacchia and Simon Foster have joined AMV BBDO as creative directors, working with the BlackBerry account as well as other clients. They both come from Ogilvy & Mather's New York office, where they started working together in 2007, including on an Emmy-nominated commercial for Amex featuring Tina Fey and Martin Scorsese. Foster has worked at agencies in Australia and the U.S., producing work for IBM and Volkswagen, among others. LaMacchia, who joined Ogilvy in 1999, worked on accounts like Perrier, Motorola and the TriBeCa film festival. RSA Films' music video arm, Black Dog, has a raft of new hires as it tries to branch out beyond traditional music videos into music documentaries, interactive films and fashion. Coleen Haynes, who comes from HSI and has worked with celebrities including Madonna and 50 Cent is now senior executive producer. Jill Hammer, formerly in internal promotion, is now executive producer. Chris Clavadetscher (formerly of Partizan) is now Director's representative, and Jamie Rabineau, who is the founder of director agency Lark Creative, will also be dealing with director representation. Steve Ayson has joined MJZ for representation in the U.S., U.K., France and Amsterdam. Ayson, a commercial director who will continue to be represented by Sweet Shop in the southern hemisphere, has worked on brands including Heineken, Volkswagen, Folgers, Lotto and MTV. He just finished a spot for The Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas out of Fallon, Minn. His most recent work promotes the Melbourne International Film Festival. Ayson has also been part of Creative Magazine's "Power 20" for the last two years, which honors Australia and New Zealand's brightest creative minds. Directorial trio Nobrain has signed onto TWC films. Nobrain, comprised of Saii, Charles and Niko, who met while working at a post-house in Paris, will be represented by TWC in the U.S. Nobrain's specialty is mixing live action, CGI, miniatures, hand-drawn animation, motion design and stop-motion animation. TWC's clients include Wrigley's, Citroen and Renault.
