JWT New York has hired Craig Love (left) and Shayne Millington, a creative team from Wieden + Kennedy, to work on Macy's and Bloomberg respectively as creative directors. The duo are the first new hires by chief creative officer Peter Nicholson, who joined in January.
At Wieden, Love was a senior copywriter and Millington (pictured, left) a senior art director. Together they worked on campaigns for Nike, Target and Coke, including Target's Collection Campaign. Prior to W+K, they worked at Saatchi & Saatchi for five years, creating campaigns for Wheaties and JC Penney among others.
Doner has promoted Chuck Meehan to executive VP, executive creative director. Meehan will relocate to the agency's HQ in Detroit to help lead all creative content for the Chrysler Group account. He will continue to play a significant role in the creative duties for its Newport Beach roster of clients, including Avery and Del Taco. Meehan joined Doner as creative director in 2009, having previously worked at BBDO in Atlanta.
Trailer Park, the entertainment marketing firm, has launched e-publishing division Trailer Park Publishing, aimed at enabling publishing houses and content creators to create digital reading experiences for mobile phones, tablets and e-readers. The division will be headed by president Curt Doty (right) who currently leads Trailer Park's Advanced Content division. Caroline Grill (center), previously at Hyperion working on its digital publishing program, joins as vice president, business development and Scott Tobin (left), founder of interactive design and marketing firm Tobin Interactive, joins as creative director, product development.
Gravity has named Mette Walter (formerly Werdelin) as staff producer, based in New York. She was previously VFX department manager at MPC, based in London, and has also worked at Smoke & Mirrors, The Mill, and Tag Worldwide. At Gravity, Walter will produce primarily commercial projects and will report to chief executive officer and chief creative officer, Zviah Eldar.
