TBWAG1 (Paris) has hired Eric Pierre as executive European creative director. Pierre will oversee all creative for the Nissan Europe account in more than 25 European countries. He also assumes the role of executive European creative director of the Omnicom agency unit, Nissan United, which is dedicated to the automotive manufacturer. He joins from CLM BBDO, where he was creative director and head of a team dedicated to Mercedes-Benz and Smart. His previous agency experience before joining CLM BBDO in 2008 includes spells at Leo Burnett Paris, Saatchi & Saatchi Pari, Ogilvy Paris and Euro RSCG Morocco.

Adam&Eve/DDB London creatives Aidan McClure and Laurent Simon have joined the BBC's new in-house marketing department BBC Creative as executive creative directors. The pair have worked on campaigns including the renowned 2013 John Lewis campaign The Bear and the Hare, Colman's BreakUp and Mulberry's Nativity ad. They report to Justin Bairamian, director of BBC Creative.

Independent digital marketing agency Frequency540 (FQ540) has hired Suzanne Michaels to oversee its creative department. Michaels will report into Andrew Swinand, CEO. She will be responsible for creative for all of Frequency540's clients, which include U.S. Cellular, Lincoln Park Zoo and SunPower. Before joining FQ540, Michaels was SVP executive creative director for Energy BBDO. Her career includes creative leadership roles at digital and traditional agencies, including Digitas, Tribal DDB, Critical Mass and J. Walter Thompson. She has led integrated campaign development for PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, eBay, McDonald's and other brands.
