Doner L.A. Hires Palmer, Lynch Moves To BBDO South China And More

Doner has hired former Razorfish executive creative director Rob Palmer as EVP, executive creative director, based in its Los Angeles office. In his new role, reporting to Rob Strasberg, co-CEO, chief creative officer, Palmer will be responsible for all creative efforts to build the LA office as Doner expands its West Coast presence. In addition, Palmer will contribute to the agency's creative work for the Chrysler Group. Prior to Razorfish Palmer ran his own agency, Mitchell + Palmer, from his hometown of Boise, Idaho, and before that was a creative director at Wieden+Kennedy.

Kevin Lynch is moving from Energy BBDO Shanghai to take up the position of executive creative director, South China for BBDO. Lynch, who will be based in Hong Kong, will act as a creative and team leader to BBDO's Hong Kong and Guangzhou offices. Prior to joining BBDO China, Lynch worked with the agency in Chicago. He first joined the network through Proximity Worldwide, where he helped grow the Chicago office from half a dozen people to more than 80 in three years. In his new role, Lynch will work alongside JC Catibog, managing director, BBDO South China.

Wayne Pick is joining Colenso BBDO/Proximity Auckland as creative director. Pick is returning to New Zealand after three years in New York at RAPP, where he has been ECD since 2011. Pick worked at agencies in South Africa, Singapore and London before moving to New Zealand with the Tequila network in 2004. He became ECD at RAPP New Zealand in 2007 before moving to New York in 2010. His awards include Gold at Cannes, Effies, Caples and the DMA Echos and the Grand Prix for three consecutive years at New Zealand's Marketing Association RSVP (now DMA) Awards.
