Today, BBDO N.Y. announced the appointment of Tom Godici and Greg Ketchum as Executive Creative Directors. The pair moves from Ogilvy, New York, where they also served as ECDs and were responsible for launching IBM's "Smarter Planet" campaign. In their new posts, they will oversee key clients on the agency's roster.
Both Godici and Ketchum are 20-year industry vets. Prior to Ogilvy, Godici served as group creative director at TBWA/Chiat/Day, N.Y. and creative director at Deutsch, N.Y. He started out at Fred/Alan on accounts like MTV, Nickelodeon and VH1. Ketchum will see his second run at BBDO, after working at the shop's west coast office from '89 to '97 as CD on Apple Computer.He subsequently moved to Hal Riney & Partners to become CD on Saturn and then became worldwide CD on HP for the Publicis network.
