Jose "Pepe" Aguilar has joined Grey Group agency Wing in the role of chief creative officer, based in New York. He replaces Favio Ucedo, who left the agency. Aguilar has been with Grey since 2003, first in Mexico as group creative director, then at Maruri Grey Ecuador as general creative director, and later as the creative lead at Grey Peru. In 2012, he returned to his home country to lead the creative team at Grey Mexico, which subsequently became Mexico's most awarded agency at Cannes in 2015.
Andy Clarke has joined Publicis Worldwide in New York as executive creative director on Cadillac, reporting to New York Chief Creative Officer Andy Bird. Clarke comes directly from Arnold Worldwide in New York, where he was global executive creative director. His experence includes working on luxury brands in North America, Europe and Asia, including Rolex, De Beers, Porsche and Lexus.
Anomaly has hired Omar Quiñones as group strategy director, working with Managing Director Giovanni Villamar and Creative Director Mauricio Galvan as a new member of its leadership team. He joins from CP&B in Miami, where he led global work for American Airlines and Infiniti in Latin America. Previously at the Boulder office, he led efforts on the "You Know You Love It" U.S. Hispanic campaign for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. Prior to CP&B he was a senior planner at The Vidal Partnership.
Wongdoody's Los Angeles office has appointed Matt Burgess as creative director. He joins the agency from Olson Minneapolis, where he worked over the past eight years in roles ranging from copywriter to creative director. Burgess will work in conjunction with recently promoted creative director Dennis Lee on accounts including Air New Zealand, National University and Cedars-Sinai.
AKQA has hired Suki Rai as creative director at its London office, reporting into Head of Experience Design Rob McIntosh. Rai was previously head of design at Dare, and has held creative leadership positions in London and Mumbai. She has also worked as a designer at BBC Worldwide, Digital LBi and M&C Saatchi Mobile.
Steve Street has joined SS+K as a senior copywriter. Prior to SS+K, he was at creative director at The Via Agency and a senior copywriter at Ogilvy Sydney, where he won a Gold and Bronze Lions for his work on Qantas.
