Creativity 50:
Bjork, Performing Artist

By Published on .

The Icelandic singer has always been a creative innovator, and her latest musical effort, "Biophilia," is no exception. The album was released alongside a series of iPad apps, turning it into a conceptual, multidimensional experience centered on science and nature. Every app includes a game related to the song, the score, animations and a musical essay. Björk, who collaborated with the likes of interactive artist Scott Snibbe, director Michel Gondry and British naturalist David Attenborough on "Biophilia," has also performed the "experience" live at venues such as the New York Hall of Science.
