The Creative Artists Agency and Chipotle continue to sweep 2012's awards season, winning Best of Show at the One Show Entertainment Awards for "Back to the Start," the stop-motion film directed by Nexus' Johnny Kelly about the benefits of sustainable farming.
The awards announced a total of 19 Gold, 22 Silver and 27 Bronze pencil winners, marking the best in branded entertainment for the year.
Gold Pencil winners included Brand Arc's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," in the scripted series category, BBDO New York's "Dig Deeper" work for HBO in the short form category and Warrior Poets' "Pom: The Greatest Story Ever Told" in the documentary category.
TBWA/Chiat Day's "GT Academy" work for Sony and Nissan, which just this week also took home Best in Show at the 2012 AICPs, won a Gold Pencil in the unscripted television reality series category. Pereira & O'Dell's excellent "Inside" campaign for Intel/Toshiba and DDB Paris' orange-powered billboard for Tropicana both earned gold-dusted nods.
The top Pencil winners by country were the U.S., Australia and South Africa.
