Serviceplan Gruppe Wins Best of Show at One Show Design

Annual reports are rarely considered works of art. But when it's a solar-powered annual report that can only be read in sunlight, it's going to get some attention.

Serviceplan Gruppe's innovative sun-powered annual report for client Austria Solar picked up the Best in Show award at the One Show Design awards Monday night.



The Munich-based agency also won two Golds in the annual report and printing categories for the same project, and picked up a third Gold in typography for BMW.

A total of 81 Pencil winners were announced, representing 20 different countries.

Saks Fifth Avenue's Christmastime spectacle, "The Snowflake and the Bubble," created by iris Worldwide, also picked up a Gold Pencil. The projection mapping spectacular launched in November and ran until January.



"Balloons," an animated sequence for an installment of MTV's Music Never Stops campaign, directed by Dulcidio Caldeira out of Paranoid Brazil, also picked up a Gold.

Other Gold winners included The Department of the 4th Dimension, which won in the spatial category for "Lucid Dreams," one of the galleries in the Sephora Sensorium. The Sensorium was a pop-up scent store that transformed fragrances into interactive experiences.



Other winners featured on Creativity included Nike's "Addiction" campaign, which picked up a silver. The campaign, created out of F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, included a television spot that positioned running as an addiction that is actually good for you. The agency also won a couple of Bronze awards for Le Curiosism, for the Pinacoteca Art Museum of Sao Paulo.



ASOS "Urban Tour," a digital, shoppable, interactive experience created out of BBH London, also picked up a silver.
