That's P.J. Pereira and Andrew O'Dell , chief creative officer and CEO, respectively, of San Francisco agency Pereira & O'Dell marching in the famous samba school parade during Carnival this week in Rio de Janeiro.
The parade lasts all night, with each samba school allocated about an hour for its 4,000 or so members to parade down the avenue in the Sambadrome, illustrating through music, dance, and costumes the theme their samba school has chosen.
Pereira, a native of Rio and a fan of popular samba school Mangueira, said he got a call from his brother a few weeks ago asking if he wanted to parade with Mangueira, and he and Mr. O'Dell jumped on a plane. Mangueira's theme this year was a tribute to the traditional blocos, or groups that form Rio's vibrant street carnival.
Can you find P.J. in the video below? It may not be a coincidence that the shirt he's wearing resembles that of one famously hard-to-spot character.
