An act of revenge is foiled in a spot from the New Zealand Coast Guard, Publicis Mojo and production company Luscious International after a plucky young girl finds her doll severed by an absent brother. She takes one of his action figures to the bathroom for a ceremonial flushing, but has a bit of difficulty doing so, panicking as the toilet fails to sink its plastic victim. With a strong performance and a justified act on behalf of its heroine, the spot makes you root for the girl, but it is really a cautionary tale. The message? "Always wear a lifejacket."
