If you think The Art Directors Club is composed of a bunch of anal-retentive fussbudgets, you'll be surprised to learn that the ADC agrees, at least according to a new campaign for the New York-based organization that will run this week on New York channel NY1.

Created by Saatchi & Saachi/N.Y. -- and directed by creative director Peter Cohen -- the effort is based around the tagline "Welcome to the club," and it welcomes all perfectionists who are fit for ADC membership. In one spot, for example, we see an airline pilot go back and correct an imperfect landing. In others, a woman gives her lover detailed instructions in what turns out to be an extended double entrendre, constuction workers clean up after themselves, and a doctor labors over his handwriting.
