AICP: What's Next

Published on .

The AICP is kicking off its New York show Tuesday morning with the Next Awards. The awards "honor outstanding multidimensional, brand promotions that appear in the moving image" with categories including integrated campaign, viral/web film, microsite/website and experiential.

Goodby Silverstein & Partners creative director/partner Jamie Barrett served as Next judging chair and will host the morning program, consisting of a series of panel discussions providing perspective from Next judges. The AICP has also introduced an Audience Choice Award for each category, selected live during the program.

As part of the festivities, the organization will screen a series of short films featuring Next jurors, directed by Sorrel Ahlfeld of Anonymous Content. In this sneak peak of the main video, judges talk about the concept of Next and the evolution of creative work.

The Next Awards program takes place from 930 a.m. to 1230 p.m. The AICP show gets underway at 7 p.m. followed by the gala and dinner.
