Burger King Introduces "Dr. Angus"

Published on .

Meet Dr. Angus.
After parodying "hip" retail advertising with an outrageous designer named Ugoff, Burger King and Crispin Porter + Bogusky take aim at the low-carb craze with a character named "Dr. Angus," advocate of a diet based on BK's new steak burger, The Angus. In a new spot directed by British comedian Harry Enfield -- who also stars as Dr. Angus -- the good doctor explains the fake diet to a crowd of enthusiastic converts.

"If you eat, you're on a diet. A diet is what you eat. When you're on The Angus Diet you eat The Angus," he explains before encouraging his followers to, "tear down the walls between you and The Angus!"

Like Ugoff before him, Dr. Angus has a rather elaborate website at www.angusdiet.com.
