California and Canada Take Different Approaches to Milk
Published on .
A major-leaguer tests positive.
It's Milk Day here at AdCritic, with two different approaches--one from San Francisco's Goodby Silverstein & Partners that follows the California Milk Processor Board's "Got Milk?" campaign and another with a visual theme from BBDO/Montreal. Goodby's take, directed by Mike Maguire out of Suneeva and MJZ, portrays milk as a steroid-like power booster (complete with confessional athletes), while BBDO and Jet Films' Yves-Christian Fournier show the drink as a necessity that should come in pairs (as in two glasses per day) by first showing couples missing their other halves.
