Chipotle Gets Creative with PBS Sponsorship

In a campaign that will be a sign of doom to some and a relief to others -- hey, if PBS is going to run virtual ads, they might as well be amusing -- Chipotle Mexican Grill has set out to have some fun with its corporate sponsorship of the PBS cooking show The Minimalist.

In three 15-second sponsorship bumpers created by Boulder, Colo., agency TDA, standard public television scenarios -- like a pledge drive and a newscast -- are interrupted by people's enthusiasm for Chipotle's burritos. Sean Leman of Denver production company Rehab directed.
