The Travel Channel shows some attitude in two new spots for the network directed by Epoch's David Preizler via Y&R/Chicago. Plugging author and chef Anthony Bourdain's show "No Reservations," the spots sport the tag "A new kind of travel show" and imply that Bourdain will not be going to well-tread spots like Disney World. One shows a couple literally step into a tourist trap, and the other demonstrates a creative method for getting rid of clutter-inducing souvenirs. (MS)
