CP+B, Maxim Fight 'Mantropy'

Published on .

Maxim "Hair"
It seems like only yesterday that "metrosexuals" were the hot new psychographic that every marketer was trying to reach. Today, however, Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Maxim magazine are openly bucking the culture's slide into metrosexuality with a new campaign promoting "Mantropy Control."

The effort is anchored by a website at endangeredman.com, where you'll find information about men's two areas of interest -- "Tools" and "Ninjitsu" -- a letter-writing campaign aimed at having man listed as an endangered species, and these educational-style web films detailing the decline of modern man.
