Dayton/Faris' "Sunshine" gets Oscar nods

Published on .

Continuing in its storybook success, "Little Miss Sunshine," directed by Bob Industries duo Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, garnered multiple Oscar nominations in categories including Best Picture and Best Screenplay and for performance by Alan Arkin (Best Supporting Actor) and Abigail Breslin (Best Supporting Actress). "It's been an amazing run," says T.K. Knowles, executive producer/partner Bob Industries. "The biggest part is, Jon and Val spent so much time trying to get this movie made, they stuck to their guns and kept their creative vision and they pulled it off. Shows you should stay committed to what you believe in."
