The Galant attracts attention.
In two new commercials, Deutsch/L.A. positions Mitsubishi's mid-sized sedan -- the Galant -- as a car that is both edgy and family-friendly. As usual with Mitsubishi, the edge is provided by the music. Deutsch, along with music supervision and licensing company Production Advisors, selected tracks from underground mainstays the Flaming Lips and New York art-punk outfit Radio 4 to spice up a pair of domestic situations, both directed by Gorgeous Enterprises' Peter Thwaites via Anonymous Content.

In one spot, we see a man alone in his car, apparently singing along to the Radio 4 single "Dance to the Underground." Only when the music stops do we realize that he's simply trying to memorize his grocery list. In the other, passersby wave at a passing Galant, as the Flaming Lips' song "Do You Realize?" swirls in the background. At the reveal, we see that everyone's waving at the baby in the backseat.
