Eric Silver Leaves BBDO, New York

Published on .

Eric Silver, one of four ECDs at BBDO, New York, resigned his post and, sources say, is in talks to head a few avenues across town to DDB, New York. It is expected that he will replace current DDB CCO Lee Garfinkel.

Renowned as a copywriter, Silver contributed to the comedic heyday of Cliff Freeman & Partners, working for clients like Outpost.com and Fox Sports.

After a quick stint at Saatchi & Saatchi, Silver headed to BBDO, New York in 2003 and continued producing high profile work for clients like the BBC, Monster and FedEx. Silver's most recent Monster work included the Super Bowl spot "Double Take."
