Fairy Snapmother to the Rescue

Published on .

Slim Jim "Back Flop"
In a campaign for Slim Jim from Miami's Crispin Porter + Bogusky and directed by Outsider's James Rouse, extreme athletes get a visit from the Fairy Snapmother, a hardened dude who uses his "wand"-- a beef jerky-- to help them get over their fears. It's not a spoiler to say that gravity isn't in the athletes' favor, but the wand, after all, isn't the type that spews magic either. In true extreme home-video style, the winged one hovers around the scene and veers into close-up range to deliver the brand's long time slogan, "Snap into a Slim Jim." (MS)
