Fallon's McHugh Heads to 180

Published on .

Fallon/Minneapolis group creative director Peter McHugh has been named executive creative director of Amsterdam agency 180, following the shop's win, along with TBWA/Chiat/Day/Los Angeles, of the consolidated $100 million global Adidas account. 180 previously shared duties with Leagas-Delaney/London and a range of other agencies around the world.

McHugh has a history with Chiat/Day, serving as executive creative director of the Toronto office before joining Fallon in 1995. In Minneapolis, he worked on campaigns for Lee, Nordstrom's and Holiday Inn Express, including the saga of Mark, a slacker who is eventually driven to move out of his parents' house and into a Holiday Inn. McHugh, who did not return phone calls, is expected to start at 180 later this month.
