Fallon UK has hired Santiago Lucero, executive creative director of Publicis Spain, as creative partner.
Lucero, who will start with Fallon in June, will work alongside Augusto Sola, who joined Fallon from Mother in 2009. Lucero is best known for his work on Renault, MTV and Aerolineas Argentinas, and has several awards under his belt including Cannes Lions (Gold, Silver, Bronze), a D&AD Pencil, CLIO Awards (Gold), One Show and Circulo Creativos Argentino.
He began his career at JWT Buenos Aires in 2001, and July 2006 joined Madre Buenos Aires as general creative director. There he worked with former Fallon creative Juan Cabral, who left the agency formally last month to direct commercials full time.
In February 2008, he moved to Madrid to work as a general creative director at Publicis Madrid, where he worked for Renault worldwide, Movistar Spain, Fagor, SER radiostation, San Miguel Beer, Beefeater, Ballantine's and Carrefour. He also looked after its digital arm, Publicis Mode.
