Fallon/London and British animation company Th1ng (pronounced Thing One) present an animated adventure for United Airlines that injects some humor into the troubled industry to promote American business travel in Europe. Directed by 2-D animator Sylvain Chomet (The Triplets of Belleville), the spot depicts a businessman who chooses discount air travel that uses a questionable technique. With expressive characters and a dose of humor, the technique and telling make a plane ticket look luxurious. At least you don't have to ward off alligators in coach.
