  • The celebrated director and a small crew criss-crossed the continental U.S. for 70 days, gathering interviews with 121 random individuals along the way. A new interview will be available every three days and if the first one is any indication, will offer viewers some eclectic portraits of the everyday.


  • Rich Johnston and friends have launched a comics news site that Johnston describes as "imagine Harry Knowles DNA genetically spliced with Stan Lee's, cultured, grown, raised and then pushed head first into a shredder." So yeah. Dive in.


  • In one of the more awkward commercial tributes, Hockey Night in Canada's resident cult hero/curmudgeon Don Cherry got the Dos Equis treatment ahead of the Stanley Cup Finals broadcast in Detroit over the weekend. We're big hockey fans, but this made us cringe so tight we pulled our own jersey over our head and suffered a self-induced haymaker.
