  • Google has asked kids to reinterpret its logo once again and submission finalists for the Doodle 4 Google competition are now up for public perusal. Vote for your favorite per age group to narrow the pool. The winning design will be displayed on Google homepage for one day.


  • The Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York opens the exhibition Design for a Living World this Thursday, May 14. From the Nature Conservancy and co-curators Abbott Miller and Ellen Lupton, the exhibition features commissioned works from 10 designers including the likes of Yves BĂ©har and Isaac Mizrahi, whose designs on display are crafted from sustainably grown and harvested materials.
