Snowboarding wasn't always a big money Olympic sport enjoyed by millions around the globe, but the sport and lifestyle got to where it is on the backs of small brands that built strong connections with their audience. Westbeach is one of those brands. It's gone through some tough times since Chip Wilson left to build a yoga-based empire, but the brand has been able to bounce back recently in no small part due to the roots it set more than 20 years ago.
