Hitchhiking generally doesn't qualify as a creative endeavor—but that was before Filmgraphics launched Hitchhike, a special portal on the Australian production company's new website dedicated to branded content production for viral and mobile. The highly interactive portal features two distinct areas: "Launched," a gallery of existing video clips, short films and TV spots that have already hit the web; and "Primed," a group of creative forums for writers, directors, actors and animators to post original concepts, scripts, pitches and other crazy ideas for all to see. The goal is to match these undiscovered talents with agency creatives in search of fresh raw material to take to their clients, and then use the production company's resources to develop this raw material into polished viral campaigns, interactive games, live-action and animated mobisode series and more. All without the hassle of standing by the side of a road with your thumb in the air.
