Cliff Freeman & Partners today announced the promotion of six employees to vice president, including four creatives. The move adds another layer of management at the agency -- where only four people below the six-member executive committee currently hold VP titles -- particularly in the creative department. "This was very much an effort on our part to empower some people on the creative side, as well as on the planning and account sides," says EVP Charles Rosen. "This is the new generation of leadership at the agency," chairman Cliff Freeman says in a statement announcing the promotions. "Each has contributed significantly to a client's success story beyond what any of us could even hope for."
Those receiving promotions to VP-associate creative director include senior copywriter Adam Chasnow, whose radio work for Hollywood Video recently won two Gold Pencils at the One Show; Ian Reichenthal, a copywriter behind both rounds of work for Mike's Hard Lemonade; and senior copywriter Steve Doppelt and senior art director Jason Gaboriau, who worked as a team on the agency's acclaimed work for Budget Rent a Car. Shana Brooks, an account supervisor, and account planner Matt Herrmann have also been promoted to VP.
