Goodby's Soto Joins Hal Riney

Goodby Silverstein & Partners ACD and art director Jon Soto is leaving the agency to become a SVP-group creative director at Publicis & Hal Riney, Riney ECD Kirk Souder announced Thursday. Soto's career at Goodby included a 1998 Grand Prix win in Cannes for a Nike television campaign that asked "what if we treated all athletes the way we treat skateboarders?" More recently, he has worked on campaigns for Emerald Nuts and Ace Hardware. Soto left Goodby in 1999 and rejoined the agency in 2001 following a stint at TBWA/Chiat/Day/San Francisco.
