Dynamic directing twins The Hughes Brothers have gone separate ways behind the lens. Allen and Albert Hughes, who directed features From Hell, Dead Presidents and Menace II Society, have become a prominent commercials force in the past year, directing spots like Nike's "Rucker Park" and "Funkship", as well as others for adidas and Fox Sports, all out of L.A.-based production company the Oil Factory.

Brother Allen is currently directing a pilot for USA Networks but will continue to work out of the Oil Factory for commercials at the beginning of April, according to Factory president Billy Poveda. Albert, however, is now exclusively repped by @Tate, a division of Tate & Partners that represents feature directors for spots. @Tate executive producer Susan Kirson says that Albert just finished directing a spot for EA Sports out of Odiorne Wilde Narraway + Partners. The siblings last partnered in January on work for Sprite featuring Kobe Bryant, a job handled by the Oil Factory. (Ann Christine-Diaz)
