Jason Macdonald and Chan Hatcher Hatch Number Six

Editing vets Jason Macdonald and Chan Hatcher have partnered to launch Number Six, a new editing shop based in New York and Los Angeles. Macdonald, who has worked at Mad River Post and, most recently, at Cosmo Street, will man the East Coast operations while Rock Paper Scissors alum Hatcher will head up the West Coast. Third partner Crissy DeSimone, also formerly of RPS, will be the L.A. executive producer. Initial Number Six projects include spots for AT&T, Burger King and VW, the latter on which the pair will be tag teaming. As for the new partnership, "We bid against each other all the time," says Macdonald. So obviously, "it's a perfect fit."
