Jeff Kling Resigns from W+K Amsterdam

Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam ECD Jeff Kling has announced his resignation from the agency in order to pursue various independent creative opportunities. As to what those will be, "Not sure exactly what's next, but I'm too curious about too many options," Kling says.

He added: "And, while talking to other agencies—among other things, they respect I have no intention of rushing any decision; that going off the ranch is as likely a future for me as any."

Kling had taken on the W+K ECD role in 2008, and since then has helped to lead campaigns like the recent World Cup "Write the Future" push for Nike, Honda's "Let It Shine," and others for Coca-Cola, Electronic Arts, Heineken, ESPN, Nokia and more.

Kling's W+K history, however, spans more than ten years, during which he also served as CD and copywriter at the agency's offices in Portland and Amsterdam and conceived award-winning work for Nike, ESPN, Coca-Cola as well as the iconic Miller High Life campaign.
