John West Returns!

John West: Still enduring the worst to bring you the best.
Almost two years since taking the web by storm with a fight between a man and a bear, John West and Leo Burnett/London have returned with another tale of man vs. beast, this one featuring a John West employee plucking a tuna from the jaws of a shark.

"Bear," released in late 2000, immediately became a viral phenomenon, and to this day remains one of the most downloaded spots on AdCritic.com, regularly registering among the site's ten most popular spots. The spot also won a Gold Lion in 2001, narrowly losing out on the Grand Prix to a series of Fox Sports spots from Cliff Freeman. The sequel, directed by collective Traktor, at first appears to be a nature video -- as the original did -- before we realize that something else is going on.
