Juan Cabral Relocates to Argentina

Published on .

Fallon's Juan Cabral is headed home, according to the agency, in anticipation of the birth of his first child.

The agency held a meeting yesterday to announce the creative director will be relocating closer to his family in Argentina but will continue his creative duties. The duration of the move wasn't announced.

"I think it was always clear that his role was going to evolve beyond the traditional creative remit," said Cadbury marketing director Phil Rumbol, who worked with Cabral on the acclaimed "Gorilla" spot. "I've always expected that he will direct ads as well as write them, and if you're in that type of role, where you are located is probably less important. Fallon could get a huge amount of value from his knowledge because he's just an outstanding talent, probably the most talented creative person I've had the fortune to work with."
