Proudfoot and Austria out at W+K NY

The leadership at the New York office of indie network Wieden + Kennedy continues to churn.

A little less than a year after 20-year agency veteran and former W+K, New York office head Buz Sawyer exited the shop, the agency's two top creatives, Kevin Proudfoot and Jerome Austria are now on their way out too.

Proudfoot—who has been with the agency about a dozen years, through its various ups and downs, and was promoted to ECD in 2004 at the age of 31—is slated to take on a post as co-executive creative director at Google Creative Lab. That operation is run by Andy Berndt, a onetime Wieden exec, and Robert Wong.
