Kirshenbaum Bond Markets NYC's Olympic Hopes

NYC2012: Street-fighting men.
This week, Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners debuts its first television work for NYC2012, the committee lobbying the United States Olympic Committee to make New York the U.S. candidate to host the summer Olympics in 2012. The U.S.O.C. is slated to make its decision Nov. 2.

The four new spots, shot by Blair Witch Project producer Gregg Hale via Chelsea Pictures, feature Olympians displaying their talents in the streets of Manhattan, as only slightly surprised New Yorkers look on. The tagline for the effort is "We've been training for this forever." In the first spot to break, fencers Akhi Spencer-El and Peter Westbrook cross swords over a taxi dispute. Further executions feature gymnasts Nadia Comaneci and Bart Connor, weightlifter Cheryl Haworth and hurdler Derrick Adkins.
