Published on .

Commercials production days in Los Angeles fell slightly in November, according to numbers released by the Entertainment Industry Development Corporation (EIDC). The EIDC recorded 432 location shooting days for commercials last month, down 5 percent from October. The November tally represents a 31 percent increase compared to a year ago, however. With one month left to go, the second half of 2003 looks like a mirror image of the first half. L.A. production days have posted year-to-year gains in four of the last five months, after posting an increase only once in the first half of the year. The year-to-date tally currently trails last year's pace by just 1.4 percent.
