After dipping slightly in May, Los Angeles' commercials production days bounced back in June, according to numbers released by the Entertainment Industry Development Corporation (EIDC). The EIDC recorded 472 shooting days for commercials last month, up five percent from May. The count also outstripped the previous June's by a whopping 67 percent, marking the eighth month out of the last nine that the EIDC's figures have posted year-to-year gains. Through the first half of 2004, L.A.'s production tally is up 24 percent compared to the same period last year.
