Logevall Leaves Bruce Dowad

Published on .

Director Robert Logevall, known for his stylish work for Lexus and Volkswagen, has split with longtime production company Bruce Dowad Associates to forge out on his own. "He just decided he wanted to pursue his own company," says BDA executive producer Heidi Nolting. "We wish him the best of luck." Logevall, who once served as Bruce Dowad's art director, had been repped for the company for the last five years.

According to Drew Miller, who recently left New York-based repping firm Stentz & Miller -- which counts BDA among its clients -- he and Logevall plan to set up their own production company, although he declined to discuss details of the venture. In November, when Creativity polled agency creatives about their favorite directors in various categories, Logevall ranked as one of the most popular car directors.
