Lowe Sells the Museum of Sex

A different kind of audio tour.
A year after opening its doors, New York's Museum of Sex is launching its first ever broadcast campaign. Two new spots from Lowe/New York -- which will air only in the New York market -- attempt to attract patrons by juxtaposing the museum with other, more humdrum cultural experiences. In one spot, we see a couple listening to audio tours at a museum of old masters, at an exhibition of modern art and, finally, at the Museum of Sex. One of them is clearly more exciting than the others. In the other spot, a man admires the artistic masters, but it's his wife who's impressed by the masters on display at the Museum of Sex.

Both spots were directed by Daniel Minahan, who co-wrote I Shot Andy Warhol and wrote and directed the reality TV satire Series 7.
