Michael Jordan played what will almost certainly really be his last NBA game on Wednesday. And although his career ended with a whimper, rather than a bang, in a losing effort against Philadelphia, the night also closed an era on a notable career as an endorser. In honor of MJ's final retirement, Spike Lee returned to reprise his role as Mars Blackmon, a character he created for the film She's Gotta Have It
and who began appearing in Air Jordan spots in 1988. In the final spot, Blackmon -- Jordan's biggest fan -- can't get over the fact that it's really over as he talks to MJ on the phone. The tag? "Goodbye and thanks, Michael."
