During his two years spent in Amsterdam, Cedergren first oversaw creative development on the Nike digital account at AKQA before joining 180 to take the lead on projects for clients like Adidas and Swedish Television. The digital veteran, who has collected more than 80 awards in his career including One Show Pencils and two Cannes Grand Prix, returns to Stockholm where he was interactive CD for half-a-decade at Forsman & Bodenfors.
Now at Åkestam Holst, Cedergren will work alongside newly promoted ECD Andreas Ullenius and interactive creative director Paul Collins to develop multidisciplinary campaigns that will range from product design to content and digital to traditional advertising. "We will erase the lines between traditional and digital as much as possible and embrace creativity in all its forms and over every discipline," Cedergren states.
While no specific plans can be revealed as of yet, the new ECD says Åkestam Holst's goal is pretty straightforward: "We want to deliver interesting work, not just talk about it."
