Mini owners expect only the best for their beloved vehicles, as evidenced by this new spot from German agency Jung von Matt/Alster Werbeagentur GmbH. Directed by Peter Darley Miller of @radical.media/Berlin, “Filling Station” employs a skip-frame editing technique to create a frenetic flip book effect. The spot follows a smitten owner of the new Mini Park Lane as he lavishes the car with a quality of devotion usually reserved for a woman—even taking the time to “test” the gasoline at the local filling station.
