In a new co-branded campaign for Sprite and MTV2, writer/director Antonio McDonald teamed up with MTV and audio post-production house Ear Goo to hit the streets of New York with a combination of art and music. The result? A pair of 60-second “Entertisements,” documentary-style spots starring graffiti artist Doña as she spontaneously crafts Sprite-themed masterpieces on a SoHo street, with the sounds of original music composed by Ear Goo—a moving mishmash of jazz, hip hop, electronica and techno—pumping in the background. The campaign aims to capture the brand message of Sprite and MTV2 in a compelling format that strikes a chord with the MTV2 generation. (RH)
